On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, the Rotary Club Radaur felicitated Pilot Khushi Jhamb, daughter of Sumit Jhamb, for her outstanding achievement in the field of aviation. She was honoured with the prestigious “Meri Beti Mera Gaurav” (My Daughter, My Pride) Award, recognising her dedication, perseverance, and inspiring journey as a young woman pilot.
A Rising Star in Indian Aviation
Khushi Jhamb has successfully completed one and a half years of professional pilot training in Florida, USA, marking a significant milestone in her aviation career. Her performance and discipline during training earned her multiple job offers from reputed international aviation companies.
Despite receiving global opportunities, Khushi expressed her heartfelt desire to begin her flying career in India, aiming to serve domestic routes first before moving on to international operations. Her decision reflects her deep sense of responsibility and pride towards her homeland.
Pride of Radaur and an Inspiration for Young Girls
Khushi’s achievement has become a moment of pride for Radaur. Members of the Rotary Club and local residents praised her journey, calling it a source of inspiration for young girls, especially those aspiring to build careers in aviation and other professional fields traditionally considered challenging.

Strong Family Support Behind the Success
Khushi’s father, Sumit Jhamb, is currently working as a Senior Manager in a private company in Gurugram. With strong family encouragement, Khushi completed her Class 12 education in Gurugram before moving abroad to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot.
The unwavering support of her family played a crucial role in shaping her journey and achievements.
