The Indian Men’s Futsal Team produced a commanding performance to defeat arch-rivals Pakistan 4–1 in the SAFF Futsal Championship 2026, delivering a statement win on the international stage.
India dominated proceedings from the opening whistle and took an early lead through Vincent Laltuanzela in the 6th minute. Pakistan responded with a goal by Ali Agha (19’), briefly bringing themselves back into the contest.
However, India controlled the second half with confidence and intensity. An own goal by Asif Ahmad Chaudhry (24’) put India back in front, followed by clinical finishes from Nikhil Mali (32’) and Lalsawmpuia (40’) to seal a convincing victory.
