The Delhi High Court has directed Bollywood actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav to surrender before the authorities by February 4 in connection with ongoing legal cases against him. The order was passed while hearing matters related to long-pending financial and legal disputes involving the actor.
According to court proceedings, Rajpal Yadav had earlier been granted relief under specific conditions. However, due to non-compliance with court directions and pending obligations, the High Court has now instructed him to surrender within the stipulated time.
The cases reportedly stem from financial transactions and loan-related issues that date back several years. The court emphasized that adherence to judicial orders is mandatory and that no individual is above the law, regardless of their public stature.
Rajpal Yadav, known for his iconic comic roles in films like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Hungama, has not yet released an official statement regarding the court’s latest directive.
Further legal proceedings are expected once the actor surrenders, and the matter will continue to be monitored closely by both the legal fraternity and the film industry.
