India Knockout Nights Launched to Build a Strong Professional Boxing Ecosystem

New Delhi: Indian boxing took an important step forward with the official launch of India Knockout Nights (IKN), a new professional boxing platform introduced by the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS). The initiative aims to provide Indian boxers with regular competitive opportunities, greater visibility, and a clear professional career pathway.

The launch event brought together leading athletes, combat sports enthusiasts, and members of India’s growing fight sports community. The central message was clear: Indian boxing talent needs a consistent and credible stage to flourish.

Renowned Indian professional boxer Neeraj Goyat played a key role in the launch. Having represented India on international fight cards, Goyat is now focused on creating opportunities for the next generation of boxers. He was joined by professional boxer Nishant Dev and Indian MMA star Anshul Jubli, highlighting the growing unity across India’s combat sports ecosystem.

Designed as a structured, multi-city professional boxing league, India Knockout Nights will host regular fight nights across various weight divisions. The platform is intended to move Indian boxing away from irregular opportunities toward a sustainable, professional framework.

Season 1 of IKN will be live-streamed on YouTube through Neeraj Goyat’s official channel, giving fans across India and around the world direct access to the action.

Sharing his thoughts, Neeraj Goyat said that he has personally experienced the struggles faced by Indian professional boxers, including uncertainty and the lack of reliable platforms. According to him, India Knockout Nights is built to ensure that talent is recognized and given a fair chance to grow.

Manisha Malhotra, President of the Inspire Institute of Sport, explained that IIS has always believed Indian athletes can compete with the world’s best when provided with world-class support. She emphasized that IIS focuses not only on training, but also on building complete athlete ecosystems through coaching, sports science, recovery, mentorship, and international exposure. According to her, India Knockout Nights is a natural extension of this philosophy, aimed at creating visibility, consistency, and professional opportunities for boxers.

By prioritizing high-quality competition, professional production standards, and digital accessibility, India Knockout Nights signals the beginning of a new era for Indian boxing—positioning the sport not just as a passion, but as a viable professional career.
